1. Confirm the listing and placement
Record the ASIN, variant and current offer. Decide whether you need a listing video, Storefront asset, Sponsored Brands video or external social ad. Each has its own eligibility and technical requirements. A produced file is not an approval or listing-management integration. Check the intended destination before planning a format you cannot use.
2. Select evidence-backed selling points
Choose two or three benefits supported by specifications. Keep buyer feedback accurate and obtain permissions where needed. Do not invent reviews, endorsements or competitive findings. Supply context rather than assuming unrestricted access to marketplace data. Save the source facts with the brief so changes in price or availability are easy to catch later.
3. Develop the opening and demonstration
Answer a buyer question in the opening, show a relevant feature and finish with an appropriate next step. Keep the product consistent with listing images. A truthful demonstration is more useful than unsupported before-and-after claims. Specify voice, language and captions if needed, and avoid introducing accessories that are not part of the offer.
4. Review the production scope
Supply approved assets and confirm duration, aspect ratio, variations, review and delivery files. Check usage credits separately from workspace access. Never send Seller Central passwords, access tokens or private customer details as creative input. Request additional crops or versions explicitly so the delivery matches each placement.
5. Validate before launching
Check current Amazon creative policies, file specifications and seller eligibility. Review images, soundtrack, copy and CTA against approved facts. Measure your own campaign results; creative production does not guarantee ROI, ranking or approval. Test a defined angle before expanding a campaign, and keep claims consistent with the live product page.
